PLEASE NOTE: Due to illness, K.A. Parker was not able to make it in April as advertised and has been rescheduled for our June meeting.

Song Feedback with K.A Parker  7:30 to 10:30 PM

Get feedback from songwriting professional K.A Parker and your peers on what's working in your song and how to make it even better.  Bring 15 to 20 copies of your lyrics. You can bring your song on a CD, or play it live (we have a piano, P.A., etc).

K.A Parker is considered one of the top lyric teachers in America. She has had over 40 songs recorded by such artists as George Duke, Gloria Loring and Juice Newton.  She has been a staff-writer at Motown and has won the top prize in American Song Festival five times.  She has taught at Berklee College, Musician's Institute, The Grove School, Trebas Institute, UCLA Extension, and Golden West College.  Her students include major recording artists, music business professionals, and hundreds of working musicians and songwriters.  As a music business professional, she has worked with BMG Music Publishing, CBS Songs (now Sony Music), ATV Music and Island Music.  She is the only teacher in Los Angeles who has spent over 20 years on both sides of the desk, both as a business person and a songwriter.  For more information contact K.A.
