Song Feedback with Mike Giangreco  7:30 to 10:30 PM

Get feedback from Mike Giangreco and your peers on what's working in your song and how to make it even better. Bring 15 to 20 copies of your lyrics (with chords if possible) and your music on CD or tape or play it live. Mike has recently started his own label Meroke Sky Records and is looking for potential talent.  Consequently, for THIS meeting, instead of bringing a “work-in-progress”, you may wish to bring your best, most polished recording to show you at your finest.

Mike Giangreco is head of Hollywood Concerts (www.HollywoodConcerts.com) and Giangreco Presents (www.Giangreco-Presents.com) is considered an L.A. music scene icon to those in the business. For almost two decades he’s been a Sunset Strip mainstay, as a booker, tour manager, engineer, and career–builder to many well-known as well as upcoming acts and bands. He was instrumental in getting Linkin Park and System of a Down their recording deals. Mike currently books acts in every local venue that’s worth playing in, including the world-famous Whisky Au Go Go, Rainbow Bar & Grill, Cabana Club, Pig & Whistle, and other rooms that new acts often get seen and signed at! This long time music business figure has not only helped develop many acts, but many clubs as well, and knows what’s best for an act or band.

He has recently started his own label Meroke Sky Records and is looking for potential talent.  Consequently, for THIS meeting, instead of bringing a “work-in-progress”, you may wish to bring your best, most polished recording to show you at your finest.  Mike will also speak about and answer questions on HOW THE INTERNET EFFECTS  SONGWRITERS, SINGERS, SHOWS AND YOUR SALES.
